The drink first came on the market on May 8, 1886, but it was the pharmacist Dr. John Pemberton, who fixed the magic formula that has 130 years of success on the international market, has kept the hours of everyday life. Little has Dr. Pemberton suspected that the syrup mixture intended for sale at Jakobs Pharpacy in downtown Atlanta would be a hit, once the first glass was filled and subsequently drunk with joy. It’s funny to say that in the early years, the manufacturer said that nine daily doses were a perfect solution, – we can’t say whether this meets public health standards today, but nothing beats a cool coke drink!
